a fairy tale ?

Once upon a time, in a land far, far away from here, there was a beautiful princess who lived with her mother and father in a sumptuous gold and silver castle in the most magical kingdom one can imagine.

lagonThere were fruit trees everywhere, countless waterfalls and lagoons, hordes of wild horses and unicorns running free, there were flowers all over and the birds were always singing…

But on the princess' eighteenth birthday, a spell was cast upon the castle by an evil fairy who was just too jealous of her beauty : she sent everyone into a deep deep sleep and enclosed the whole kingdom with a barrier of wild roses carrying such enormous thorns that nobody would even think of entering it.

Many years passed and the rose barrier had grown thicker and thicker, higher and higher until it covered the castle almost completely except for the shining golden tip of its roof. It was just then that a lonely but extremely handsome prince from a nearby kingdom discovered the hidden castle as he was walking his pearly white horse up into the mountains.

He took out his binoculars and, as he could not figure out what the shining object was exactly, he went back down to his own castle, commissioned a huge bulldozer and drove through the stinging plants up to the shining thing.

It was a long and rough ride and just as the prince was about to give up and go back home, he encountered the beautiful waterfalls and saw how the unicorns were suffering. He was then determined to continue and save this apparently once beautiful land. And so, his sword in his hand, he finally arrived at the castle. He got cuts all over his body, going through the last bits of wild roses but eventually managed to walk through the gate. The valiant prince could not believe his eyes when he discovered all those people asleep. The guard was still standing straight, leaning on his spear . The king and the queen were still sitting on their golden thrones. The birthday cake was still on the table and the princess, who had certainly been dancing just before falling asleep, was lying in the staircase in front of the thrones. Her long gold hair fell over her red dress and the steps. Her small but lovely crown was still in her hand and as the prince moved towards her, he realized she had the most beautiful smile he had ever seen. He sat down next to the charming sleeping body of the princess. His heart started pounding fiercely in his chest. He took her hand very gently and drew his face nearer, feeling that a kiss would wake the princess up, and so, very very slowly, approached and…

flowersWell, one year later, the rose bushes were all under control and gave splendid flowers of all sorts of perfumes and colours, the waterfalls were back as blue as the sky with lots of waterslides around and the prince was making about half a million everyday, simply because he had not kissed the princess back to life : he had just changed the castle into a five star hotel. Apart from the nice unicorn horse farm and the exotic pools, one could also visit the castle with its sleeping inhabitants including the princess whom he had set under a bullet-proof glass box to make sure nobody would ever be tempted to kiss her. To attract more and more tourists, the prince actually made up a kind of fairytale story about a "sleeping beauty"…

Oh, come on ! you reader… If a man has to choose between a gorgeous girl and a heap of money, what do you think he would choose ?

Yeah… the money… And for your information, the prince later married a sweet blonde Baywatch babe with big fake boobs…
